You’ve been waiting for it, and now the TMSU Equity Centres’ DisOrientation Week is here!

Join us all five days of the second week of classes for some exciting events FOR marginalized students BY marginalized students. Drop ins, dance parties, art workshops and free food with your students in your communities. What else could you need on the second week of school?

Barbeque

Tuesday, Sept. 9

2PM to 5PM outside the SCC

In partnership with the UBSA the BIPOC Students' Collective is hosting the first barbeque of the 2025/26 school year. Join us in starting the year off strong, kickback and make new friends, and play some dominoes. Featuring sounds by DJ Sekii and catering by Biggs Ribs.

2SLGBTQ+ Zine Workshop

Wednesday, Sept. 10

3PM to 5PM @ Margaret Laurence Room (SCC 2nd Floor)

Learn about queer and trans activism by taking part in one of its time-honoured traditions: zine making! This workshop by the Arquives is for Queer/Trans students to learn about history while crafting their own zines. This is a mask-mandatory event; masks will be provided.

7PM to 11PM in Kerr Hall Quad

Join the Queer Space and BIPOC Students' Collective for an evening of uninterrupted Black 2SLGBTQ+ joy! Featuring a stacked lineup of local Black queer performers including Prince Manny Dingo, Storm, Eboni La'Belle, DJ AmaniEyes, DJ MyMy, and DJ Ms. Myles.

8PM to 11PM at the Met Campus Pub

QUEERCORE is back and ready to rock the Met Campus Pub for the second time! Join three local queer performers Etagegn, NIA NADURATA, and earth 2 tiffany for the indie rock edition of your favourite local show.
